Job Description

REC has a requirement for a Tactical Data Link (TDL) Operations Instructor/Training Analyst.  This position is contingent on program funding.

Duty Location: Fort Bragg, NC

Security Clearance: Secret    


Summary: 

Provide full time on-site support to the Joint Interoperability Division (JID) staff for operations and maintenance of Joint Multi-Tactical Data Link School (JTMS) curriculum.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, revise, and maintain JTMS course materials IAW ISD processes.

  • Assist with JTMS administration, which includes maintenance of course schedules, student briefs, handouts, administrative documents and testing.

  • Assist in JTMS classroom and computer preparation for student use, to include configuration control of student workstations and peripheral equipment.

  • Manage, schedule, and analyze end of course critiques.

  • Prepare test analysis for JTMS.

  • Provide ISD expertise to support curriculum revisions, courseware development and multimedia enhancements.

  • Assist with modernizing JTMS classroom techniques, particularly within the electronic classroom, to export JTMS courses to the widest joint service audience or student population, to include reviewing video teleconferencing equipment and procedures.

  • Edit and provide ISD standardization of lesson plans, instructor plans, student workbooks, practical exercises, student guides, examinations, and other JTMS courseware materials as defined by the contract.

  • Maintain an inventory of JTMS courseware and associated training materials.

  • Maintain a database of JTMS course material, and student records.

  • Provide support to JTMS sponsored conferences.

  • Assist in maintaining a database of JTMS course material and student records.

  • Instruct JTMS courses as required.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree, or Associate Degree with five years total experience in military data link operations.  

  • Experience in data link interoperability doctrine, tactics, techniques, procedures, and training.

  • Experience with data link interoperability exercises and training, preferably as an instructor or instructor/supervisor.

  • Experience in curriculum development, formal classroom instruction, and use of classroom hardware and software similar to those systems applied in the JID.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISD and Academic Instructor Training highly desirable.

  • Experience in training program development under the ISD process or related structured curriculum development scheme is desired.
